Position Overview:

The Marketing Finance Manager reports to the Sr. Manager of Marketing of the T-Mobile account and is responsible for driving the Finance operations for the Marketing team. To be successful, you will have experience in business strategy, management consulting, business intelligence and/or industry analytical track record across various practice areas and industries. You will be adaptive, an attentive listener, able to work in a fast-paced, highly competitive environment, collaborating with your cross functional colleagues both on the account team as well as our mobile headquarters located in Plano, TX while focusing on T-Mobile and its subsidiaries, as our customers.
Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Consolidate marketing program details, such as program structure, background, business and financial details from program owners and deliver overall Account-level view
  • Manage budget plans, reconcile between planned budget and actuals and lead month-end closing with variance reporting
  • Lead program documentations and approval processes
  • Review final deliverables against contract and lead payment validation process for approval
  • Act as the voice of brand and manager of national priorities within cross functional teams internally and agency partners externally
  • Manages product marketing, promotion, and advertising programs and materials for specific channels and/or campaign periods
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive media, partnership and experiential programming planning and execution while representing appropriate channel partners' views in order to effectively manage product lifecycle

Background/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or business-related field
  • 6+ years of work experience (mobile or CPG industry preferred)
  • Strong understanding of traditional and digital marketing and the principles of driving audience relevance but ultimately the need to drive sales
  • A proven self-starter, they must be a highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills for both internal and external discussions
  • Work independently and in a team environment in order to achieve business objectives, personal and team goals, and complete assignments within established timeframes and specifications

Necessary Skills and Attributes:

  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all assigned levels within and outside the company
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects
  • Review detailed product development, marketing documents and media materials
  • Demonstrated competency in both oral and written communication modes for both internal and external personnel at various levels.
  • The ability to develop tasks and work assignments, based on sometime vaguely defined objectives

  • The position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:
  • Work is generally performed in an office environment
  • Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal 50% of work time, including prolonged periods of time
