Job description

Tom's Ford is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our dealership team. In this role, you'll manage the finance and insurance process for vehicle buyers, structure deals that satisfy both customer needs and dealership profitability goals, and maintain strong relationships with lenders and finance sources.

Responsibilities

  • Present financing and insurance options to customers after the sale, including extended warranties, GAP insurance, and other F&I products
  • Structure deals and submit applications to a variety of lenders to secure financing approval and the best possible rates and terms
  • Ensure all finance and insurance paperwork is complete, accurate, and compliant with federal, state, and dealership regulations
  • Maintain and grow relationships with banks, credit unions, and other lending institutions
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff from sale to finance
  • Meet or exceed monthly F&I product penetration and profit goals
  • Stay current on lending guidelines, compliance requirements, and industry regulations (Truth in Lending, GLBA, Red Flags Rule, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting for all finance transactions

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as an F&I Manager or Finance Manager in an automotive dealership
  • Strong knowledge of lending practices, deal structuring, and F&I products
  • Proven track record of meeting sales and profit targets
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Good with technology
  • Excellent appearance, verbal/written communication, strong presentation skills
  • Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a โ€œpeople person")
