What We Are Looking For:


This position is will be within a certain area of the finance team from Tax, Strategy, Controllership, or FP&A. As a broader part of the finance department, this position will have the ability to gain exposure to other functions and high impact projects. This role is required to be onsite 3 days a week at our Durham, NC headquarters.


What You Will Do:


Budgeting and Forecasting Support

  • Help in the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts.
  • Support variance analysis by comparing actuals vs. budgeted numbers.

Account Reconciliation

  • Assist in reconciling bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Identify discrepancies and report findings to senior finance staff.

Financial Reporting

  • Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support the team in ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Invoice Processing & Expense Tracking

  • Assist with reviewing and processing vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with internal policies.

Market and Competitor Research

  • Conduct basic financial research on market trends, competitors, or investment opportunities.
  • Summarize findings and present to supervisors or team leads.

ERP/Finance System Data Entry

  • Enter and maintain data in financial software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.

Ad Hoc Projects

  • Assist with special projects such as cost-saving initiatives, financial modeling, or data cleanup efforts.
