Finance Systems Manager / Senior Finance Systems Manager
About This Role:
Veranex has an exciting opportunity to join our Corporate Finance team as Finance Systems Manager or Senior Finance Systems Manager. This role is responsible for optimizing and managing our financial systems to support corporate finance operations, drive efficiency, and enable data-driven decision making.
What You Will Do:
  • Lead the management and optimization of financial systems, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies and objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies for system enhancements, process improvements, and technological advancements.
  • Oversee system performance and reliability, addressing and resolving high-level and complex system issues.
  • Lead the development and enhancement of advanced financial reports, dashboards, and analytics to support strategic decision-making and financial planning.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on comprehensive data analysis.
  • Lead major projects related to financial system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
  • Act as a primary contact for high-level system-related inquiries and support requests.
  • Conduct comprehensive system audits and assessments to identify and address potential risks and compliance issues.
  • Collaborate with corporate and operational departments to ensure alignment of financial systems with business objectives and strategies.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to finance team members and end users.

Senior Manager Level - Expanded Responsibilities
  • Define and drive the enterprise financial systems strategy and roadmap, aligning with organizational growth and transformation objectives

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to Finance leadership, translating business needs into scalable systems solutions.

Qualifications:
Manager Level - Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in finance systems management or financial systems support
  • Strong hands-on experience with NetSuite configuration and administration
  • Experience supporting system enhancements, reporting, and process optimization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Finance and IT teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Senior Manager Level - Required
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in financial systems management, including strategic leadership or transformational initiatives
  • Advanced expertise in NetSuite architecture, configuration, and system design
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale implementations, integrations, or transformation programs
  • Proven ability to develop and execute systems strategy aligned to business objectives
  • Strong financial acumen, including understanding of reporting, planning, and operational finance needs
  • Experience working with and influencing senior leadership/executive stakeholders
  • Experience leading or mentoring teams and building scalable processes

Preferred (Both Levels)
  • Experience with additional financial systems or tools (e.g., FP&A, BI/reporting platforms)
  • Experience in high-growth or consulting environment
  • Familiarity with SOX controls or audit/compliance processes
  • Experience leveraging AI technologies, automation tools, or intelligent agents to enhance financial systems, reporting, or operational efficiency within NetSuite or similar ERP environments
