Job description

Summary:
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for day to day administrative duties of CSM Financial under the direction of the Finance Associate.
Responsibilities:
  • Process various transactions for financial services and truck leasing businesses
  • Support business leaders to improve process efficiency
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by the business segment leadership

Duties:
  • Administer fuel tax reporting, investigate and approve invoices, vehicle titling and registration, etc.
  • Administer loan processing including scheduling ACH batches, NSF payment reversals, loan modifications, collections, etc.
  • Deposit check receipts
  • Process rental check-outs and check-ins
  • Create new customer records from incoming credit applications
  • Other office duties as assigned

Education, Skills, Experience:
  • Associate's degree in Accounting or related field required
  • Prior experience in equipment financing or leasing is a plus
  • Good understanding and knowledge of common accounting concepts
  • Ability to learn systems applications
  • Preferred software experience: Excel
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to fine detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written, verbal, and customer communications skills
  • The ability to prioritize and handle several tasks simultaneously

Work Environment, Physical Demands:
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop and lift/move up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Ability to work in a dealership environment to include 8 - 12 hour days with frequent exposure to weather elements
