Job description

North Star Community Services is seeking candidates to join our team as a Finance Generalist.  In this role, you will be working in a cross-functional role helping with the functions of payroll, accounts receivable, other accounting duties, and assisting in other areas of administration.

Qualified candidates will demonstrate flexibility and be willing to assist in a variety of accounting and administrative responsibilities. 

Qualifications: 

  • Associate degree in accounting, business, finance, or office administration with a minimum of 2 years' experience. or equivalent education and experience.  A bachelor's degree is preferred. 
  • Excellent Math skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
  • Good analytical and reasoning skills 
  • Experience with MS Office 365: Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Time management and ability to manage multiple tasks
