Travel Possible Job Summary: M1's Business Analyst Intern supports data-driven decision-making by working closely with Information Technology, Program, and Business teams. This role focuses on translating data into meaningful insights, supporting business processes, and helping drive continuous improvement across M1 operations. The Business Analyst Intern will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs, assist in developing dashboards and reports, and contribute to initiatives that improve operational performance, including aircraft maintenance, supply, and labor visibility. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Key Responsibilities: * Analyze business processes and data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement * Translate business requirements into data and reporting needs * Support development of dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI) to communicate insights to stakeholders Assist in gathering, cleaning, and organizing data from multiple sources * Work with Corporate, Program, and Customer stakeholders to understand operational needs and priorities Develop visualizations and presentations to support decision-making * Document business requirements, workflows, and data definitions * Support testing and validation of reports, dashboards, and data outputs * Assist with identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and data quality * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team projects Additional Duties as Assigned: * Will perform relevant additional duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience: Required Qualifications: * Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Management, or a related field * Strong interest in data analysis, business operations, and problem-solving * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills * Effective communication and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders * Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a team environment * Eagerness to learn and develop business and technical skills Page 2 of 2 Preferred Qualifications: * Basic experience with Microsoft Excel required; familiarity with Power BI or other visualization tools preferred * Basic understanding of data concepts (tables, relationships, simple queries) preferred * Exposure to SQL or other data tools is a plus but not required * Work is primarily performed in an office setting and requires prolonged periods of sitting, computer use, data analysis, and virtual collaboration. * Position requires frequent use of Microsoft Office applications, reporting tools, collaboration platforms, and business systems to analyze data and support operational initiatives. * Employee will routinely interact with Corporate, Program, IT, and operational personnel in both individual and team settings. * Position may involve handling sensitive or proprietary company, operational, or customer information requiring discretion and confidentiality. * Work assignments may involve managing multiple projects, deadlines, and shifting priorities in a fast- paced environment. * Occasional attendance at meetings, training sessions, or operational reviews may be required.
