A Brief Overview
Performs extensive short- and long-term budgeting and forecasting and various forms of financial analysis for potential financial transactions such as acquisitions, real estate, refinancing, and account fluctuations. Completes and distributes various standard and non-standard reports on an established and as needed basis and provides guidance to the Financial Analyst I. This is the second level of a multi-level career development class series. Work assignments enable incumbents to obtain the experience required for advancement to Senior Financial Analyst.
What you will do

  • Prepares advanced level scenarios for possible future financial conditions and assists in the preparation of the annual budget, incorporating forecasts and volume projections
  • Develops assumptions regarding the volumes of business which could be expected under the current business plan and under alternative strategies and performs various forms of financial related analyses
  • Prepares various standard and non-standard reports on a pre-established basis and maintains investment portfolio information on income simulation models.
  • Conducts cost/benefit analysis and/or breakeven analysis for various projects as assigned and communicates levels and sources of interest rate risk exposure
  • Performs month-end closing and distribution of monthly financial statements and detailed financial statement analyses, including discussions on various issues
  • Other duties assigned by management.


What you will need

  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting or related field required
  • 3+ years of relevant experience required
  • Experience with Data Visualization tools (Tableau, MS Power BI, Snowflake, etc) and the ability to create dashboards.
  • Excellent Analytical skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with sales planning models preferred.

Expected Work Location (In Office): It is expected that you will primarily perform work at the Safelite Home Office (7400 Safelite Way, Columbus, OH 43235).
