Job description

Description
JWG Trucking is looking for a high-ownership Finance & Administration Manager to take leadership of the financial and administrative side of our growing aggregate logistics company.
This is not simply a bookkeeping position. We are looking for someone who can own the function today and help build the department for tomorrow.
You will take responsibility for the financial and administrative workflow of JWG Trucking, including ticket processing, invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, transaction monitoring, CRM accuracy, financial reporting, and administrative communication with customers and drivers.
Initially, this will be a hands-on role. You will personally own many of the day-to-day responsibilities while improving the systems, controls, reporting, and processes behind them. As JWG grows, you will have the opportunity to help build the Finance & Administration department and eventually lead that team if you demonstrate the capability.
The right person is highly organized, financially capable, proactive, and naturally takes ownership. You should be able to identify problems before they become bigger problems, create order where needed, and give leadership clear visibility into the financial and administrative health of the business.
If you are looking for an opportunity to build, own, and grow a function within a growing company, this could be an excellent fit.

โ€ข 4+ years of experience in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, administration, office management, or a related role

โ€ข Exceptional organization, accuracy, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight
โ€ข High-ownership, proactive problem-solver who identifies issues, brings solutions, and continuously looks for ways to improve systems and processes
โ€ข Strong communication and technology skills; construction, trucking, logistics, Workiz/CRM experience, or previous team leadership experience are strong advantages
