About Pinnacle Financial Partners
Pinnacle Financial Partners is an independent insurance brokerage focused on helping individuals and families protect their financial future through personalized insurance and financial protection solutions.
Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all product, our agents have access to multiple insurance carriers and a broad portfolio of solutions, allowing them to help clients find coverage that fits their individual needs, goals, and budget.
We welcome both experienced insurance professionals and individuals who are completely new to the industry. For those interested in building more than a sales career, we also offer a defined path from independent agent into leadership and management.
What You'll Do
As a Life Insurance Sales Representative, you will meet with prospective clients primarily by phone or virtually to identify their financial protection needs and educate them on appropriate coverage options.
Depending on licensing, carrier appointments, product requirements, and client needs, available solutions may include:
- Term Life Insurance
- Whole Life Insurance
- Indexed Universal Life (IUL)
- Final Expense Insurance
- Mortgage Protection
- Annuities
- Supplemental and Accident Coverage
You'll compare available solutions from multiple insurance carriers, make needs-based recommendations, assist clients through the application process, follow up with prospective and existing clients, and maintain accurate client records.
All recommendations are expected to be made ethically and based on the client's individual needs and financial circumstances.
No Insurance Experience? That's Okay.
Previous insurance or sales experience is welcome, but it is not required.
Candidates who are not currently licensed may begin the licensing process after joining our organization. Individuals must obtain all required state licensing and carrier appointments before conducting activities that require an insurance license.
For agents who would benefit from additional preparation, we offer an optional two-day training program at no cost. Experienced agents are not required to complete this training unless otherwise necessary.
Additional product or carrier training may be required before offering certain products, including IULs and annuities.
Leads & Sales Support
Agents may Purchase leads or use No Cost provided leads
Agents may choose to purchase certain leads at their own expense.
Career & Leadership Development
This opportunity is designed for individuals who want the ability to grow based on performance rather than tenure.
Agents interested in leadership can pursue advancement into management. Leadership candidates must demonstrate the ability to recruit and develop others, including bringing on at least one recruit, demonstrate an ability to train, and show a strong understanding of ethical sales practices.
Agents may work remotely without an office-attendance requirement. Individuals who advance into leadership should expect an in-office component as part of their management responsibilities.
There are no minimum production requirements for the agent position.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for individuals who are self-motivated, professional, coachable, and comfortable working independently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important, along with a willingness to learn and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Sales or insurance experience is preferred but not required.

Compensation

Additional performance-based bonuses, contests, trips, and other incentives may be available based on qualification and production.
Full-time, actively producing agents may have the potential to earn approximately $80,000–$120,000+ annually, while exceptional top producers may earn substantially more, with some top-performing producers/Leaders reaching $500,000+.
