Description

Megatel Homes is seeking a dependable & dynamic self-starter to join our Permit Department. Must be detail-oriented individual, who is self-directed/team player, adaptable, punctual and possess critical thinking skills. 


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with Engineering/Drafters/vendors to obtain correct plans to review Arch plan vs Frame vs Foundation and Plot plans etc. to assemble in Adobe pdf/send out hundreds of new blueprints per year. Process/order revisions to blueprint docs as needed. 
  • Review master architectural plans/submit documents required for HOA individual address submittals. 
  • Maintain/update records/details in Salesforce/Excel/OneDrive, Buildpro & Brix data entry 
  • Review new build contracts/spec home orders & order option specific engineering/receive docs/ assemble blueprints/ fill-out applications required for each individual city permit. Follow-up with city officials and pay city fees. 
  • Prints 11"x17" final architectural plans, Ships/Packages/Coordinates documents to city & construction managers
  • Process check / credit card payment requests for reinspection fees 

Education and/or Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Adobe & Outlook experience required
  • Construction/Home Builder experience preferred but not required
  • Highly Detail Oriented, highly motivated, works well independently
  • 3 years administrative/ office experience required
