Final Docs Specialist (Contract)
Location: Carrollton, TX (In-Office | 4201 Marsh Lane)
Position Type: Contract
We are seeking a Final Docs Specialist for a contract position at our Carrollton, TX office.
In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing investor and document vendor reports, ensuring flawless data entry into our system, and keeping our pipeline moving smoothly.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Gather post-purchase documents, review investor/vendor reports for accuracy, and analyze Final Docs (Recorded Mortgage and Title Policy) and Assignment of Mortgage (AOM) requirements.
  • Manage a pipeline of conditions, resolve data discrepancies, and facilitate the secure delivery of final documents to investors.
  • Track completion process, and collaborate with title companies, attorneys, and county recorders to retrieve missing documents.
  • Prescreen documents for recording, correct/re-record defective documents, and handle related financial administrative tasks (e.g., check requests).
  • Generate pipeline and aging reports, promptly escalate problem loans, and provide fast, high-quality customer service via phone, email, and chat.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
  • Experience: 2+ years of related mortgage experience, specifically within Post-Closing.
  • A solid foundational understanding of mortgage loan documents, title policies, and recorded documents for mortgage transactions.
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and a comfort level with learning internal systems of record.
  • Excellent communication skills, a high level of accountability, and a "can-do" attitude.
