Job description

  • Regenerate ion exchange resins and other filtration media according to established procedures.
  • Prepare mobile water treatment and filtration units for field deployment.
  • Load and replace resin as required and ensure equipment is properly prepared for operation.
  • Perform equipment inspections and quality control checks before units are dispatched.
  • Inspect and test equipment, including test kits, meters, pumps, hoses, and other required materials.
  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move materials and equipment safely.
  • Handle and work with chemicals, including sodium hydroxide (NaOH), hydrochloric acid (HCl), and sodium chloride (NaCl), following all safety procedures.
  • Assist with chemical vendor deliveries, including offloading chemicals into designated storage tanks and managing chemical transfers.
  • Monitor plant equipment and support general plant operations and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and standard operating procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, plant operations, water treatment, chemical processing, or a related industrial environment.
  • Forklift experience or certification preferred.
  • Comfortable working with chemicals while following proper PPE and safety procedures.
  • Ability to perform basic equipment inspections and quality checks.
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
