Position Summary
Qnity is seeking an experienced Asset Scheduler - Films Slitting to join our Supply Chain team in Circleville, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules for finishing area assets, ensuring customer delivery commitments are met while maximizing operational efficiency and asset utilization.
Working closely with Operations, Production, Product Line Management, and Supply Chain teams, you will play a critical role in balancing customer demand, production capacity, and business priorities to support world-class service and manufacturing performance.
What You Will Do
  • Develop and maintain production schedules for films slitting and finishing operations based on customer demand, capacity, and business priorities.
  • Optimize asset utilization while ensuring on-time customer delivery performance.
  • Understand machine capabilities, production constraints, and throughput requirements to support efficient scheduling decisions.
  • Utilize the Lineup Tool, SAP, and other planning systems to create, monitor, and adjust production schedules.
  • Partner with Operations, Production, Product Line Management, and Supply Chain teams to coordinate priorities and resolve scheduling challenges.
  • Monitor schedule attainment and proactively address capacity limitations, production disruptions, and changes in customer demand.
  • Analyze production and scheduling data to improve service levels, efficiency, and operational performance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, schedule accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as a key planning interface between manufacturing and cross-functional business teams.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of film processing experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using SAP and other production planning or scheduling systems.
  • Ability to learn and effectively utilize OMP Supply Chain Planning software, including successful completion of the OMP assessment.
  • Strong understanding of customer requirements and how to translate demand into executable production schedules.
  • Knowledge of finishing operations, machine capabilities, manufacturing constraints, and scheduling principles.
  • Experience using the Lineup Tool and other production planning tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across multiple functions.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in manufacturing planning, supply chain scheduling, or production control.
  • Advanced analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Experience supporting Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence initiatives.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
