About the Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Director of Operations serves as the senior operational leader responsible for the day-to-day performance of Columbus Aesthetic & Plastic Surgery across all locations and service lines.
This highly visible leadership role translates organizational strategy into operational execution by partnering closely with physicians, department leaders and Aesthetic Partners' shared services teams. Success is measured through operational excellence, patient satisfaction, leadership development, employee engagement and sustainable growth.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on. You enjoy building teams, solving complex operational challenges and creating systems that allow people and organizations to perform at their best.
What You'll Do
Lead Operational Excellence
  • Oversee operations across all clinical, ancillary and administrative functions.
  • Develop scalable workflows and operational standards that improve consistency and efficiency.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Develop and manage operating budgets while ensuring responsible stewardship of organizational resources.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, contract performance and operational expenditures to support efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Partner with the CEO and Finance to monitor operational performance, optimize resource allocation and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

Develop Leaders and Build Teams
  • Coach, mentor and develop operational leaders across the organization.
  • Establish accountability through clear expectations, performance management and leadership development.
  • Partner with People Operations on workforce planning, organizational design and leadership recruitment.
  • Build succession plans that strengthen long-term organizational capability.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement by developing leaders, promoting employee engagement and supporting an environment where team members feel empowered to perform at their best.

Partner with Physicians and Executive Leadership
  • Serve as the primary operational partner to physician leaders and the CEO.
  • Translate strategic priorities into measurable operational initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional projects that improve performance, patient experience and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support practice growth, new service launches and future expansion opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary operational liaison between CAPS and Aesthetic Partners, partnering with shared services teams to leverage enterprise resources, best practices and operational support.
  • Collaborate with Aesthetic Partners leadership on strategic initiatives, cross-brand programs and organizational priorities that support practice performance and long-term growth.

Champion the Patient Experience
  • Ensure every operational decision supports an exceptional patient journey.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction, retention and service recovery efforts.
  • Create systems that enhance efficiency while preserving the personalized experience CAPS is known for.

Drive Growth
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational performance and support business growth.
  • Partner with Marketing and department leaders to support provider growth, patient acquisition and retention.
  • Help build the operational infrastructure needed to support continued expansion as part of Aesthetic Partners.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking a collaborative and strategic operations leader who excels at developing people, driving performance and building systems that support long-term growth. The ideal candidate brings a balance of operational expertise, business acumen and leadership maturity, with the ability to influence at every level of the organization.
Qualifications include:
  • Seven or more years of progressive operations leadership experience, including leading leaders and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Multi-location medical aesthetics, ambulatory surgery, specialty medical practice or other high-touch consumer service experience is a must.
  • Demonstrated success building high-performing teams and developing future leaders through coaching, accountability and professional development.
  • Proven ability to translate organizational strategy into operational execution while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong financial and business acumen with experience managing operating budgets and using operational metrics and key performance indicators to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Experience partnering effectively with physicians, executive leaders, Aesthetic Partners' shared services teams and cross-functional partners to achieve organizational goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust, influence stakeholders and foster collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate complex situations with professionalism, sound judgment and emotional intelligence.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems proactively and implement sustainable operational solutions.
  • Demonstrated success leading organizational change while maintaining employee engagement and a positive workplace culture.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize competing demands while maintaining a focus on quality, service and results.
