We are seeking motivated and dependable NJ Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to join our team. Whether you are newly certified or highly experienced, you will be welcomed, supported, and valued. Responsibilities

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

Personal care: bathing, grooming, toileting, hygiene

Meal preparation and light housekeeping

Transfers, mobility, and safe ambulation

Rangeโ€‘ofโ€‘motion exercises

Vital signs and simple health monitoring

Medication reminders (as permitted)

Providing companionship and emotional support

Following all care plans and instructions provided by our nurses

Qualifications

Active NJ CHHA license in good standing

Must know how to speak Filipino/Tagalog or Georgian

Overnight availability required

Reliable transportation

Ability to work independently and follow care plans

Strong work ethic and a caring attitude

Experience is preferred, but new CHHAs are welcome

  • Previous home health care or patient care are welcomed but not required.

  • Ability to understand, speak, read, and write English sufficiently to follow care plans, receive instructions, document care, and communicate effectively with patients, families, supervisors, and leadership.

  • Ability to travel to clientโ€™s homes assigned with reliable transportation.

  • A commitment to deliver patient care as you would want those you love to be treated with compassion, excellence, and reliability.

  • Strong people and organizational skills with attention to detail, and basic computer proficiency to read schedules, verify assignments, complete documentation, and use required systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum one (1) year of verifiable work experience (does not have to be in the HHA field) or have completed a state approved HHA training course or vocational school program and satisfactory references.

  • Pass a Home Health Aide (HHA) Competency Examination and skills assessment.

  • Submit to a criminal background check in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations.

  • Be at least 18 years of age.

  • NJ Driver's license preferred for certain clients who need this service.
