DTS is looking for System Engineer (MOVEit / MessageWay) for our direct client Position in Lansing, MI Top Skills & Years of Experience: 7+ years of experience customizing MOVEit and MessageWay, including a strong understanding of their strengths, limitations, configurations, customer support, troubleshooting, and associated networks. 7+ years of MOVEit and MessageWay database architecture Design, develop, test, document, package, and delivery of scripts PowerShell scripting Role description: Background: The File Transfer Service (FTS) was established in 1997 and has evolved into a vital system for the State of Michigan (SoM). As a Managed File Transfer (MFT) solution, FTS facilitates the secure exchange of millions of files between state departments and internal/external trusted trading partners.

It meets all compliance and audit standards, offering features such as secure transfers, automatic notifications, retries, and comprehensive auditing capabilities. The primary focus of FTS is to efficiently manage the transfer of large files and high volumes of data. The MFT solution handles the transfer of all data classifications, and it is utilized by every SoM department.

Description: File Transfer Service (FTS) MessageWay to MOVEit transition project: Transition all existing MessageWay customers to the new MOVEit solution. MOVEit File Transfer Services (FTS) will expand file transfer capabilities (e.g., ad hoc file transfers) and automation. Due to the complexity of these migrations, the process is expected to take approximately two years to complete.

KS File Transfer Service (FTS) Contractor – Qualifications The following list highlights the key skills and qualifications required for this role, though it is not intended to be an exhaustive list. - 7+ years of experience customizing MOVEit and MessageWay, including a strong understanding of their strengths, limitations, configurations, customer support, troubleshooting, and associated networks. - 7+ years of MOVEit and MessageWay database architecture - Design, develop, test, document, package, and delivery of scripts - PowerShell scripting - Strong interpersonal, analytical, and customer service skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with management and stakeholders across multiple State departments.

- Ability to develop and maintain strategic plans that support organizational and project objectives. - Extensive experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices and methodologies, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to assist customers in designing file transfer solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
