Registered Nurse Field Supervisor

Summary

The Registered Nurse Field Supervisor will report to Director of Nursing.  Duties will be including field nursing, and clinical supervision of field staff.  The Registered Nurse Field Supervisor will focus on client assessments, file reviews, care plans and assisting with hiring and competency checks for field staff.  BrightStar Care is looking to hire a skilled and dedicated individual who shares our common values such as serving with a passion and doing the right thing. Responsibilities

  • Client assessments, develop care plans, client file review
  • National accounts development and maintenance
  • Infusion services and phlebotomy
  • Assist with RN/LPN hiring
  • Perform supervisory visits

  • On-Call for emergency  as needed

Requirements

  • RN with five (5) years clinical experience required with at least 3 of those involving infusion therapy
  • One (1) year of supervisory experience required
  • Two (2) years’ experience in-home care preferred
  • Must be proficient in IV starts and infusion therapy
  • Advanced Nursing Certifications (CRNI preferred)
  • Current state license to practice in Florida
  • Preferred:  Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.  Must have graduated from a National League of Nursing accredited program.

  • Understands regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations
