Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain product price files, including entering, updating, and verifying pricing changes, promotions, and product information in system

  • Support inventory management activities by monitoring product records, assisting with counts or adjustments, identifying discrepancies, and communicating issues to the appropriate team member

  • Provide customer service by responding to customer and team member inquiries, locating product information, and supporting a positive shopping experience

  • Print, organize, and maintain shelf labels, sale signs, promotional signage, and other in-store communication materials to support accurate and timely merchandising

  • Ensure price accuracy on the sales floor by completing price checks, reviewing signage and shelf labels, supporting corrections, and performing other duties as assigned

Education:ย 

  • Grade 12 or equivalent

  • Previous retail, administrative, inventory, merchandising, or customer service experience is considered an asset. Experience working with point-of-sale, inventory, or price file systems is preferred

  • Strong computer skills, including the ability to learn and use retail systems. Attention to detail and accuracy are required. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and suppliers as needed

  • Work is performed in a Home Centre retail environment and includes regular computer use, standing or walking on the sales floor, handling signage materials, and occasional lifting or movement of product or supplies within safe limits
