The position overview for a File and Data Management Intern includes supporting ongoing environmental and data management efforts for Amerenโs Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) sites.ย The intern will assist with entering critical site documentation and metadata within a SharePoint database environment. ย They will perform metadata entry and quality checks to confirm accuracy, consistency, and completeness of records.
ย
Essential Responsibilities & Dutiesย
- Maintain and update document libraries within SharePoint databases
- Assist with file naming standardization and document classification
- Review existing files for completeness and flag missing or inconsistent data
- Confirm adherence to document management procedures
- Collaborate with environmental and project staff to improve data organization processesย
Minimum Qualificationsย
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data entry
- Basic understanding of file management systems and database organization
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and SharePoint, preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong organizational and communication skillsย
