The position overview for a File and Data Management Intern includes supporting ongoing environmental and data management efforts for Amerenโ€™s Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) sites.ย  The intern will assist with entering critical site documentation and metadata within a SharePoint database environment. ย They will perform metadata entry and quality checks to confirm accuracy, consistency, and completeness of records.

Essential Responsibilities & Dutiesย 
  • Maintain and update document libraries within SharePoint databases
  • Assist with file naming standardization and document classification
  • Review existing files for completeness and flag missing or inconsistent data
  • Confirm adherence to document management procedures
  • Collaborate with environmental and project staff to improve data organization processesย 
Minimum Qualificationsย 
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data entry
  • Basic understanding of file management systems and database organization
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and SharePoint, preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Strong organizational and communication skillsย
