Job description

We are seeking a motivated Legal Assistant to become a part of our fast-paced litigation team. You will provide overall support to attorney and paralegal for all litigation functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain electronic legal files
  • Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
  • Conduct research to support legal proceedings
  • Answer telephones and communicate with our important clients

Qualifications:

  • Ability to prioritize and multitask is a must
  • Must be well-versed in the use of computers: saving, drafting, printing, editing in MS Word and Excel and Adobe
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Must be level-headed and able to handle fast pace of litigation in a demanding environment
  • Must be able to work in Richmond office. No remote work
  • Must pass background check
