An HVAC Technician is a skilled worker who installs, maintains, and repairs heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. While Fieldpiece tools are essential for HVAC technicians, the roles are distinct: one is a brand of equipment, the other is a job title. Understanding this difference helps clarify job requirements and tool usage in the HVAC industry.

What is a Fieldpiece and what does someone in this role do?

Fieldpiece is not a job title, but rather a brand known for producing professional tools and equipment for HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) technicians. Fieldpiece tools help technicians diagnose, repair, and maintain HVACR systems efficiently. People working with Fieldpiece products are typically HVACR technicians who use these specialized instruments—such as multimeters, refrigerant scales, and leak detectors—to ensure systems are running safely and efficiently.
