Job description

If you're energized by managing construction projects and creating exceptional workplaces, this is an opportunity to make a visible impact on a growing company.

As our Facilities & Construction Project Manager, you'll lead Fieldpiece's capital projects across the U.S., including office buildouts, tenant improvements, warehouse expansions, and new facilities. Acting as Fieldpiece's owner's representative, you'll partner with architects, consultants, contractors, and construction managers to deliver projects safely, on time, and on budget.

Beyond capital projects, you'll also oversee the day-to-day operation of our facilities, ensuring our offices, R&D labs, manufacturing, and warehouse environments are safe, efficient, and well maintained. We're looking for someone who can confidently balance strategic construction projects with hands-on facilities leadership while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Whether your experience comes from the owner's side or from a commercial general contractor or construction management firm, you'll thrive in this role if you've successfully led complex construction projects, managed multiple stakeholders, and consistently delivered results. This position reports directly to the VP of Operations.

Fieldpiece is a thriving tribe of innovators - committed to pushing boundaries and celebrating curiosity.  We’ve been providing HVACR professionals with rugged, feature-rich tools like meters, manifolds, leak detectors, and more since 1990.  Fieldpiece leads the industry in the way we think, work, collaborate, and remain laser-focused on creating products that empower HVACR professionals – today and tomorrow.  If you thrive in an environment where challenges are embraced, ambiguity fuels innovation, and relationships are built on trust and transparency—this is your opportunity.

Recognized as one of Southern California’s Best Places to Work (2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026), we provide a Hire-to-Retire philosophy, hybrid schedule (3 days onsite/week), and a culture of curiosity – a place where you’ll have the support to innovate boldly, grow continuously, and make a tangible impact on an industry that powers everyday life.

This position is in our Orange, CA office with an exciting move to Tustin, CA in 2028.  Up to 50% travel is required.

  • 5+ years of facilities management experience in a manufacturing, R&D, or light industrial environment

Experience with office buildouts, tenant improvements (TI), warehouse expansions, or industrial facilities is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Cal-OSHA regulations and EH&S program management
