FIELD WORKER (STAGGS)

Division: Athletics Department: Softball Experience: Entry-level

Job Code: FWSSTBLFLDWRK Supervisor/Reports To: Robert Staggs

Start Date: 8/25/2025

Support field maintenance for the UPIKE softball program including general upkeep, cleaning, and facility preparation. Ideal for students who enjoy outdoor work and want to contribute to athletic operations.

Responsibilities and Career Competencies:

  1. Cutting grass - C, TW, P
  2. Weed-eating - C, TW, P
  3. Working on the infield - C, TW, CT, P
  4. Cleaning the dugouts - P, C, TW
  5. Picking up trash - P, TW
  6. General field maintenance - C, TW, CT, P

Competencies/Skills: Communication (C), Teamwork (TW), Professionalism (P), Career & Self Development (CSD), Critical Thinking (CT), Community Transformation (CTR), Leadership (L), Technology (T)
