Field Service Technicians are skilled professionals who install, maintain, and repair equipment or systems at client locations rather than in a fixed workplace. They often work in industries such as manufacturing, IT, telecommunications, or medical devices, providing on-site technical support and troubleshooting. Their job involves traveling to customer sites, diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring equipment is functioning properly. Strong problem-solving skills, technical knowledge, and customer service abilities are essential for this role.

What does a field service technician do?

As a field service technician, your responsibilities and duties include traveling to work sites to conduct maintenance and repairs to computers for individuals and businesses. You must troubleshoot problems that your clients are having with technology, including software and hardware issues.
