CUSTOMER ENGINEER - FIELD SERVICES Small to Large UPS, PDUs, Power Products & Battery Systems (2-120KVA)

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Install, commission, and perform scheduled/emergency service on UPS, PDUs, and Battery systems (2-120KVA)
  • Provide on-site and phone support to customers, striving for first-time fix resolution
  • Communicate with Technical Support on technical or procedural issues
  • Implement Field Change Notices and stay current on Safety Bulletins and Service Tips
  • Complete timecards, expense reports, mileage reports, and service documentation accurately and on time
  • Maintain individual inventory and perform cycle counts per company policy
  • Operate safely in accordance with published guidelines and customer site requirements
  • Meet or exceed on-site response time requirements

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Experience (one or more):
  • ASEET or AMEET certification (or progress toward)
  • 4+ years military experience in a related technical field
  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience

Skills:
  • Professional written and verbal communication
  • Effective time management balancing technical and administrative tasks
  • Familiarity with electrical/electronic test equipment and fundamentals
  • Ability to follow written technical documentation to perform service tasks
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and company software applications
  • Collaborative approach with peers, customers, and leadership

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Travel required with flexible schedule (weekends, evenings, holidays)
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test, background check, and motor vehicle records check
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently and up to 75 lbs occasionally
  • Standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching required
