Description

We are looking for a Field Service Technician responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fountain soda systems, juice systems, and bulk carbon dioxide (CO2) vessels. This position ensures all equipment operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards and customer expectations.


  • Install beverage dispensing equipment at new customer locations.
  • Perform service and maintenance on syrup, juice, and bulk CO2 systems at customer sites.
  • Diagnose and resolve product quality issues, including taste, temperature, and carbonation inconsistencies.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance during scheduled visits or when time allows.
  • Rebuild and refurbish equipment at the plant as required.
  • Occasionally deliver Bag-in-Box (BIB) syrup and CO2 supplies to customers.
  • Survey and evaluate job sites to determine installation feasibility and requirements.
  • Test and verify product temperature and carbonation levels during every service call.
  • Ensure customers complete and sign loan agreements when new equipment is installed.
  • Prepare and service outdoor bars, patios, and venues for seasonal transitions (e.g., summer/winter setups).
  • Work overtime as required to meet customer and operational demands.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, providing after-hours service support as needed (24/7 availability).
  • Perform service work as needed across extended regions, including Rochester, Central New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio.
  • Complete all required paperwork, service reports, and administrative documentation accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company safety standards.

Requirements

  •  High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in refrigeration, electrical, or mechanical systems preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and basic refrigeration. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with customers and team members.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. EPA certification or similar technical credential preferred.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and capable of working independently or as a part of a team.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds regularly.
  • Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces, outdoor conditions, and customer-facing settings.
