Job description

Field Service Engineer – Aseptic Packaging Equipment

R&F Tech Solutions is looking for a motivated Field Service Engineer to join our growing technical service team.

The position focuses on supporting industrial packaging and production equipment at customer facilities throughout the United States and internationally.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation-related equipment issues
  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, installations, and equipment upgrades
  • Support equipment commissioning and production start-ups
  • Diagnose machine problems and recommend corrective actions
  • Provide technical support and training to customer personnel
  • Complete service reports and technical documentation
  • Assist with spare parts identification and inventory when not traveling

Requirements:

  • Mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or automation background
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently at customer facilities
  • Professional communication and customer-service skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 60–80%), including international travel
  • Experience with packaging, filling, food & beverage, or industrial automation equipment is preferred

Compensation: $65,000–$85,000 per year, depending on experience
