Senior Project Manager โ€“ P3

What this job involves:

As a Senior Project Manager at JLL, you'll lead strategic planning and execution of complex construction projects across Federal facilities in Washington, Oregon, Montana, and Idaho. Working within a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team, you'll manage new construction, major renovations, system replacements, and space management initiatives from concept through completion. At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way โ€” for our clients, ourselves and our fellow employees โ€” and this role is central to that mission.

You'll serve as the bridge between vendors, stakeholders, and clients, ensuring every project meets JLL priorities, building codes, and prescribed timeframes and budgets. This position requires approximately 10% travel to remote sites, including overnight stays where you may serve as an escort and safety watch. What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Lead multiple complex projects using PMI methodology; establish strategic goals, dependencies, and milestones; develop comprehensive scope, schedule, budget, technical specifications, success criteria, and client-directed KPIs
  • Direct multifunctional teams under aggressive timelines, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment across all project phases
  • Facilitate executive meetings; maintain communication with managers and clients; coordinate resources, subject matter experts, and inter-project teams
  • Serve as business and technical liaison, assessing implications throughout the project lifecycle and bridging the gap between vendors and clients
  • Monitor timelines and targets; disseminate status reports; obtain authorization for changes; anticipate risks and develop contingency plans and corrective recommendations
  • Craft thorough Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) with mitigation strategies for every project; deliver daily JHA briefings during active construction
  • Ensure 100% compliance with federal and industry regulations; track and facilitate resolution of issues, risks, and compliance dependencies
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, vendor contracts, performance bonds, and invoice support throughout project execution
  • Implement Change Management and process improvement initiatives; mentor project managers in best practices and identify new business opportunities within existing facilities

Required qualifications:

  • 7+ years of project management experience in construction or related field
  • Architecture principles and associated disciplines expertise (master planning, civil, mechanical, electrical, space management)
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities with proven ability to direct multifunctional teams under aggressive timelines
  • Experience managing RFIs, submittals, performance bonds, and vendor contracts in complex construction environments
  • OSHA 30 Certification within 90 days of hire (JLL-paid enrollment available)
  • Commitment to ongoing training in construction safety and project management methodologies
  • Willingness to travel regionally and work regularly on active construction sites
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License (Real ID compliant)

Preferred qualifications:

  • PMP certification demonstrating advanced project management competency
  • Technical specifications and statements of work writing experience
  • Experience managing facility projects or working in a facility management environment
  • Government Contracting experience and familiarity with third-party operational environments
  • Utility industry experience with knowledge of related systems and infrastructure
  • Working drawings and technical specifications review experience

Estimated compensation for this position:

107,100.00 โ€“ 115,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
