  • Planifier et veiller à la bonne coordination des travaux avec les contremaîtres, arpenteurs, surintendants, ingénieurs,chargés de projet et sous-traitants;
  • Planifier, superviser et participer à l’élaboration des méthodes et procédés de construction appropriés liés aux exigences contractuelles, tout en respectant les exigences en matière de santé et sécurité en vigueur;
  • Collaborer à l’estimation et aux soumissions de projets;
  • Participer aux réunions avec les clients, ingénieurs et chargés de projet;
  • Assister, réviser et communiquer les questions techniques et les demandes de modification au représentant du client et effectuer les suivis nécessaires;
  • Obtenir les permis et les autorisations requises pour l’exécution des travaux;
  • Planifier et vérifier les commandes de matériaux (pièces métalliques diverses, coffrage, armature, etc.);
  • Faire le suivi (validation du contenu) des dessins d’atelier et autres documents contractuels exigés au besoin;
  • Coordonner la conception des ouvrages temporaires requis pour l’avancement du chantier avec les ingénieurs concepteurs;
  • Participer à la réalisation et la mise à jour des échéanciers de projet;
  • Inspecter et documenter la qualité des ouvrages temporaire et/ou permanents du projet
  • Effectuer diverses tches de suivi sur le chantier.
  • Plan and ensure proper coordination of work with foremen, surveyors, superintendents, engineers, project managers, and subcontractors.
  • Plan, supervise, and participate in the development of construction methods and procedures appropriate to contractual requirements while complying with current health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate on project estimating and bidding.
  • Participate in meetings with clients, engineers, and project managers.
  • Assist with, review, and communicate technical questions and change requests to the client’s representative and carry out the required follow-ups.
  • Obtain all permits and authorizations required for the execution of the work.
  • Plan and verify material orders (various metal components, formwork, reinforcement, etc.).
  • Follow up on shop drawings and other required contractual documents (content validation).
  • Coordinate the design of temporary works required for site progress with design engineers.
  • Contribute to the creation and updating of project schedules.
  • Inspect and document the quality of temporary and/or permanent project works.
  • Perform various site follow-up tasks.

  • Baccalauréat en génie civil, en génie de la construction, en technologie du génie civil ou toute autre combinaison pertinente d’expérience et de formation
  • Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience en construction

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or any other combination of experience and equivalent training
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; basic knowledge of MS Project; AutoCAD is an asset
  • Strong sense of urgency;
  • Excellent planning, organizational skills, and interpersonal relations;
