Job Title: Associate Software Engineer - Full Stack

We are looking for a motivated and talented Associate Software Engineer to join our Employee compliance product area within Compliance Technology. This role is primarily hands-on and focused on application development, enhancement, maintenance, and support. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, quick to adapt, and thrives in a collaborative, agile environment.

Purpose of the Role

As an Associate Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and support of enterprise-scale applications. You will work closely with senior engineers, product partners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, follow Fidelity engineering best practices, and support the technology roadmap. The role also includes participating in on-call production support on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in software development across the full lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment

  • Contribute to new feature development, enhancements, bug fixes, and production support

  • Collaborate with Scrum team members to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements

  • Develop an understanding of the business domain and apply it in design and implementation discussions

  • Follow Agile methodologies and embrace Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and DevOps practices

  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to engineering standards

  • Assist in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolving production issues

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
