Responsibilities:
  • Perform fiber optic splicing, termination, and testing using industry-standard tools and equipment
  • Read and interpret construction prints, splice diagrams, and work orders
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair fiber optic networks
  • Use OTDR, power meters, and other testing equipment to ensure quality and compliance
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies
  • Travel to job sites as needed

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a fiber optic splicer or related role
  • Proficiency in using OTDR, fusion splicers, and related tools
  • Ability to read and understand network diagrams and technical documentation
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required
