The Opportunity


The Agriculture Sales Representative will serve as the primary liaison between the company and growers within an assigned territory. This individual will drive business growth by developing new relationships, strengthening existing partnerships, and delivering customized agronomic solutions including foliar nutrition, fertigation programs, grower-applied blends, and water treatment products.

Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the assigned California territory.


Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Territory Growth

  • Establish annual sales targets in collaboration with leadership
  • Identify and develop new grower relationships through networking and prospecting
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
  • Expand market presence in developing regions
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows and agricultural events

Customer Partnership & Technical Support

  • Provide tailored fertilizer and water-treatment solutions
  • Develop long-term, trusted grower relationships
  • Maintain strong knowledge of crop-specific agronomic practices
  • Deliver data-driven recommendations and reporting
  • Uphold high ethical and professional standards


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years of agronomy-focused sales experience within California agriculture
  • 5+ years preferred
  • Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) license preferred
  • Working knowledge of fertilizer formulation strongly preferred
  • Ability to independently manage a sales territory
