Job Description:
  • Policies, Guidelines and Protocols: Develop and deliver survey operations guidelines and protocols to ensure that all survey activities comply with legal and regulatory standards, including environmental and archaeological requirements.
  • Surveying Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement surveying strategies to support construction and infrastructure projects. Ensure the alignment of surveying activities with project goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead and manage survey teams, providing guidance and training on best practices. Ensure that surveyors are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to perform accurate and efficient surveys.
  • Advanced Survey Techniques and Technology Management: Oversee the use of advanced topographic equipment and technologies for terrain mapping, property boundary measurements, and infrastructure surveys.
  • Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure that survey data aligns with project needs. Ensure that survey results are incorporated into project designs and timelines.
  • Risk Management & Problem Solving: Identify potential risks related to terrain, land boundaries, and other survey-related issues. Develop mitigation strategies and ensure that project teams are informed of any land constraints or challenges.
  • Insights & Reporting: Analyze survey data to provide insights to project teams. Prepare detailed reports that highlight key findings, challenges, and solutions to support project decision-making.
  • Performance Management: Develop and propose own performance objectives; take appropriate actions to ensure achievement of agreed objectives, using Ferrovial's performance management systems to improve personal performance. Set appropriate performance objectives for team members and hold them accountable for achieving these.
  • Capability Building: Use the Ferrovial's formal development framework to identify the team's individual development needs. Plan and implement actions to build their capabilities. Provide training or coaching to others throughout the organization in own area of expertise to enable others to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.
  • Relationship Management: Contribute to the management of partnering relationships with internal clients, building effective working relationships and providing high-quality professional services to support in delivering business strategy and plans.
