What does a ferrous manager do?

A Ferrous Manager oversees the procurement, processing, and sale of ferrous (iron-containing) scrap materials, typically within recycling or metal manufacturing companies. Their responsibilities include managing inventory, ensuring quality control, coordinating with suppliers and buyers, and supervising staff involved in handling ferrous scrap. They also ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards, optimize operational efficiency, and may analyze market trends to maximize profitability.
