As the Quality Assurance Lab Supervisor, you will oversee quality assurance activities within the production environment, ensuring products meet established standards and comply with all regulatory requirements. You’ll lead the QA Floor Technicians and QA Micro Lab Technicians, manage audits and documentation, and drive continuous improvement across the QA function

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coach QA/QC Floor Technicians and QA Micro Lab Technicians, ensuring consistent performance and development.
  • Quality Monitoring: Oversee in-process checks, ensuring adherence to company and regulatory standards.
  • Audits & Inspections: Conduct GMP audits to verify compliance and drive corrective actions where needed.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain all third-party and regulatory documentation, including SQF, Organic, and RFA, ensuring accuracy and readiness for audits.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate quality issues, collaborate cross-functionally to determine root causes, and implement CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
  • Equipment Oversight: Ensure calibration and maintenance of QA instruments for reliable results.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion process improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Training & Reporting: Provide QA training and prepare reports summarizing quality performance and key findings.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Quality Assurance, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing setting, preferably food or beverage.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience is strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in QA tools, data systems, and MS Office.
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Work Environment:
