The salary range for this temp position is $52.00 - $62.50 per hour. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and San Francisco location. This is a hybrid role based in our downtown San Francisco office - Tues through Thursday in-office, with Monday and Friday remote.

SUMMARY
Lip Lab is seeking a highly organized, creative, and culturally plugged-in TEMP Manager, Social & Influencer Marketing to support the day-to-day execution of our social media and influencer marketing strategy.
This role will sit at the intersection of social, content, influencer marketing, UGC, talent partnerships, and TikTok Shop, helping bring Lip Lab's monthly marketing plans to life across owned and earned channels.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and highly hands-on-comfortable managing social channels and communities, identifying and activating creators, coordinating UGC programming, and working cross-functionally to ensure the best content is being leveraged across organic and paid media. This person should have a strong understanding of the creator landscape, a pulse on emerging social trends, and the ability to independently manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media & Community Management
  • Own the day-to-day management of Lip Lab's social media channels, including content publishing, calendar management, community management, and ongoing channel optimization.
  • Manage the execution of the social content calendar, ensuring content is published accurately and on schedule.
  • Create and publish social-first content as needed, while primarily leveraging and maximizing content generated through Lip Lab's UGC and creator programming.
  • Identify opportunities to repurpose and optimize existing creator, UGC, campaign, and brand content for organic social.
  • Actively engage with the Lip Lab community through comments, messages, and other community management opportunities.
  • Monitor social trends, platform updates, and cultural moments to identify opportunities for Lip Lab to participate in relevant and authentic ways.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure social content supports broader marketing priorities, launches, and key brand moments.

UGC & Creator Programming
  • Lead the day-to-day management of Lip Lab's UGC programming through Skeepers, including creator briefing, content coordination, asset management, and program optimization.
  • Develop clear and compelling creator briefs that inspire high-quality, social-first content aligned with Lip Lab's brand and marketing priorities.
  • Review incoming UGC content and identify the strongest assets for use across organic social, paid media, and other marketing channels.
  • Partner closely with the Media team to identify and deliver high-performing creator and UGC assets that can be incorporated into paid media plans.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of what content is performing and apply learnings to future creator briefs and programming.

Influencer & PR Support
  • Partner closely with Lip Lab's PR agency to execute monthly marketing plans, with a particular focus on Flavor of the Month and other key brand moments.
  • Support influencer gifting and seeding initiatives, including coordination and execution through TikTok Shop, instore bookings, etc.
  • Help identify relevant creators and influencers for brand initiatives, campaigns, and cultural moments.
  • Conduct creator outreach and manage communications throughout the partnership process.
  • Support talent contracting and coordination, ensuring partnerships are executed smoothly and in alignment with campaign objectives.
  • Maintain strong organization across creator outreach, partnerships, deliverables, timelines, and approvals.
  • Bring forward new creator opportunities, emerging talent, and culturally relevant partnership ideas.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting
  • Work closely with broader team to ensure integrated execution across key initiatives.
  • Help ensure strong content and creator assets are being shared and leveraged across earned, owned, and paid channels.
  • Track and report on key social, creator, and UGC activity, identifying learnings and opportunities to optimize future programming.
  • Maintain clear organization across content assets, creator deliverables, partnership timelines, and monthly marketing priorities.

REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years of marketing experience with at least 2-3 years of experience in social media, influencer marketing, creator partnerships, or a related field, preferably within beauty, lifestyle, fashion, or another highly social-first consumer category.
  • Proven experience managing brand social media channels, including content publishing, community management, and day-to-day channel operations.
  • Experience developing and managing UGC or creator programming; experience with Skeepers is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and the evolving creator and social media landscape.
  • Experience working with influencers and talent, including creator identification, outreach, partnership management, and contracting.
  • TikTok Shop experience is preferred, particularly experience with creator gifting, affiliate programming, or creator activation.
  • Strong creative instincts and the ability to identify compelling, high-performing social content.
  • Comfortable creating content when needed, including filming and editing simple, social-first assets.
  • Highly organized with the ability to independently manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with experience working across internal teams, agencies, creators, and external partners.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to operate independently while remaining highly collaborative.
