Our High End Fashion Client is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their Finance Department in NYC on Madison Avenue. 

Job Description

Directly reporting to the Vice President of Finance, supervise accounting processes, the maintenance of its fiscal records and the preparation of financial reports. The position supervises a team of 4.

Manages the Fendi Accounting Team and monitors the activities performed by the accounting shared services center including tax planning and compliance with all federal, state and local corporate, payroll.

Maintains the company's system of accounts and keeps books and records on all company transactions and assets.

In coordination with the FP&A Team, guarantees the support to the different areas of the company (Marketing, Sales, Operations) providing them with all necessary information for decisions making and helps them understand the impact and its interpretation.

Realizes a quantitative and qualitative reporting to parent company according to the planning defined each year. Supervises the accounting team to ensure quality of the information reported.

Follows tax matters, transfer price policy, cash and foreign currencies management, investments and legal contracts with third parties.

Permanently searches for improving accounting capabilities of the organization and the efficiency of processes.

Qualifications

Minimum B.S. degree in Accounting

CPA preferred

5 to 7 years experience in a similar position within an international group

Public accounting experience is a plus

High proficiency in SAP

Strong leadership skills

Verbal and written Italian is a plus
