Job description

Security Officer

The Security Officer performs safety and security tours according to established Security Department Management Plans and Standard Operating Procedures. The Security Officer provides and preserves a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff at AtlantiCare campuses and facilities.

Minimum Qualifications

* High School degree or equivalent. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other security related applications/programs required. * All certifications and training listed below are required within 6 months from date of hire or transfer. * American Heart Association BLS required within 6 months of hire or transfer. * CPI required within 6 months from date of hire or transfer; once obtained kept current at all time.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: High School degree or equivalent. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: FEMA Certification: Incident Command System (IS) required within 6 months from date of hire or transfer. * Pending Government Operations * Current incumbents required to obtain all FEMA requirements by 9/30/2026. IS 100 Introduction to Incident Command System IS 700 National Incident Management System (NIMS) IS 907 Active Shooter Training
