What are Temporary FEMA Security Officers?

Temporary FEMA Security Officers are professionals hired on a short-term or emergency basis to provide security and ensure the safety of Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) personnel, facilities, and assets during disaster response and recovery operations. Their duties often include access control, monitoring for suspicious activity, enforcing safety protocols, and assisting with crowd management at disaster sites or FEMA centers.
