Job description

DOCS Health is seeking to build a reliable network of qualified Paramedics to support FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) by providing essential medical support and assistant during emergencies and disaster response efforts. These are part-time, as-needed positions - but when activated, the role becomes especially vital in maintaining the health and operational readiness of those responding to national emergencies.
We are looking for Paramedics to provide services at FEMA disaster sites on full time/ part time temporary assignments. Services will be provided 24/7 as 8-hour shifts. You will play a crucial role in delivering quality healthcare services to FEMA personnel that are performing critical services in areas affected by natural disasters, public health crises, and other emergencies.

Requirements
โ€ข Provide direct patient care to FEMA personnel.
โ€ข Assess and prioritize medical needs of patients, ensuring timely and appropriate treatment.
โ€ข Monitor patient conditions, document observations, and maintain accurate medical records.
โ€ข Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and emergency response teams to coordinate patient care and services.
โ€ข Educate individuals and communities on health and safety measures during disaster situations.
โ€ข Assist in setting up and managing clinical site in disaster-affected areas.
โ€ข Completion of a paramedics training program accredited by the Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Educations.
โ€ข National Registry certification as a paramedic preferred. CPR /BLS, ACLS
โ€ข Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience as a Paramedic.
โ€ข Must hold an unrestricted license in a state, territory, or Commonwealth of the United States.
โ€ข Ability to adapt to changing schedules and work hours.
โ€ข Capacity to handle high-stress situations and work effectively in challenging and austere environments.
โ€ข Willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and demonstrate a positive and supportive attitude.
