The Garcia Automotive Group is seeking a professional and customer-oriented cashier. If you have at least one year of experience performing customer service and cashier functions in a fast-paced environment, we would like to speak with you!
DUTIES:

  • Greet and direct guests in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner
  • Receive and manage payments by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits from customers who have had their vehicles serviced at the dealership. 
  •  Answers a multi-line switchboard rapidly and efficiently directs and redirect calls to destination. 
  • Data entry to prepare and maintain records as necessary.
  • Operates computer, various software, fax, calculator, phone, photocopy machine, and shredding machine, etc.
  • Assist with other clerical duties as instructed by manager or as necessary. 


Job Requirements

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum one year of customer service and cashier experience, highly preferred 
  • Excellent interpersonal and both verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand, and execute written and verbal instructions 
  • Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
  • Must be able to work weekends and evenings.
  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Professional appearance
