About the Role
We're looking a Senior DevOps Engineer FedRAMP to work on the deployment, orchestration, and secure operations of our FedRAMP authorized identity and security products. This role will be working in a highly regulated federal environment with authorized identity and security products.
U.S. citizenship is required, and we can only consider candidates located in
  • Phoenix, AZ
  • Washington, D.C
  • Hoboken, NJ
  • Dallas, TX

What You'll Do
  • Improve build/release pipelines and GitOps workflows across the FedRAMP boundary
  • Architect and operate Azure Government Cloud infrastructure using Terraform/Terragrunt
  • Manage AKS clusters with Istio, secure networking, WAF configurations, and Zero Trust models (PIM/RBAC)
  • Maintain compliant CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, and documentation aligned with FedRAMP controls
  • Oversee observability systems (Open Telemetry, Azure Monitor, Prometheus/Grafana) and maintain SLAs, SLOs, and reliability practices
  • Manage logging, audit trails, and data indexing using OpenSearch per FedRAMP requirements
  • Support production environments, participate in on call rotation, and help with incident response and post incident analysis
  • Collaborate with Security/Compliance teams on POA&M work, annual assessments, and continuous monitoring
  • Interact with federal customers and auditors; research emerging technologies suitable for FedRAMP adoption

Who You Are:
A hands-on, deeply technical engineer who thrives in regulated environments, balances security with delivery, and enjoys being deep in architecture and implementation.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years DevOps/SRE experience
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Prior experience working in FedRAMP Moderate or High environments
  • Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
  • Strong understanding of FedRAMP, NIST 80053, and federal security controls
  • Hands-on with Terraform/Terragrunt, AKS, Helm, Istio, Argo CD, Azure DevOps

Preferred Qualifications :
  • Experience with Zero Trust architecture, PIM, RBAC
  • Strong scripting/automation in Bash, Python, or Go
  • Familiarity with Kafka, microservices, and distributed systems
  • Experience with Azure API Management, Logic Apps, Cosmos DB performance tuning
  • Largescale SaaS or regulated environment experience
