Job description

Scope of Responsibilities: Works under direction supervision and follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.

 

Job Summary: Responsible for receiving all deliveries at the loading dock, preparing and shipping packages accurately and in a timely manner, performing quality assurance checks on all shipped packages, handing off all packages to FedEx/UPS drivers at the end of the day.

Job Duties:

  • Answer the door at the loading dock and receive all incoming deliveries
  • Prepare and maintain adequate stocking levels of all shipping supplies
  • Package final prescription orders for delivery to customer
  • Inspects final contents of package and order contents
  • Hand off all packages to FedEx/UPS drivers at the end of the day
  • Assist with the upkeep and cleanliness of each work station and the facility
  • Maintain and keep reasonable production as determined by supervisor
  • Responsible to maintain all quality assurances as they are given
  • Assist in orienting and training new employees on all shipping and QA protocols
  • Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Attendance Requirements:

  • Must be able to work nights and weekends as required
  • Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts

 

Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 

  • Preferred: 0-2 years previous experience in related position

Special Conditions of Employment:

  • Drug test
  • Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
  • Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position

Job Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must possess a valid Driverโ€™s License in good standing

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Requires the ability to stand throughout most of the shift

Compensation:

$16.50 - 17.80  an hour
