Job description

Under minimal supervision, supports Financial Compliance governance, risk, and compliance processes as it relates to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX).
Essential Functions:
  • Monitors and reports internal SOX compliance against external regulations and industry standards.
  • Independently performs risk assessments, oversight, enforcement, and reporting activities to meet regulatory and legal information technology SOX compliance requirements.
  • Provides recommendations to highly complex issues and guidance to those in less senior positions.
  • Collaborating with SOX external auditors and internal stakeholders.
  • Preparing SOX compliance-related documentation and reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree/Equivalent in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems and/or equivalent formal training. Bachelor's Degree required

Minimum Experience:
  • Five (5) years equivalent work experience in information technology or governance risk and compliance environment.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with industry standards
  • Detail oriented with strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications: Project Management experience, Audit Knowledge, SOX Controls experience, HIPAA Compliance, Logical Access Controls and Analysis, Data Quality and Data Analytics, Data Migration and System Implementations.
