Job description

ASI is looking for a motivated and energetic Shipping & Receiving Specialist. You will receive aircraft wheels and brakes, perform an initial inspection, and input customer requests into the ASI internal work orders system. The focus of the position is on the initial inspection of wheels and brakes, ensuring the information is correctly inputted into the system. Responsible for ensuring all paperwork is in order prior to shipping out completed wheels and brakes. The job is fast paced and physically demanding. Previous aircraft maintenance experience is desired but is not required. Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly. Shop hours are 7:00am to 4:00pm with flexible hours available.
Shipping and Receiving Job Duties:
? Inspection of components received
? Create work orders in the ASI work order program after inspections
? Document and input special customer requests into the ASI work order program
? Maintain traceability with applicable paperwork
? Unload and Load Trucks with a forklift
? Strictly adhere to regulatory guidance, all applicable technical data, and manufacture's component maintenance manuals.
? Box and Ship customer orders
? Maintain responsible equipment and facilities
? Knowledgeable with UPS Worldship & FedEx Powership
