Overview
The Program Manager of Federal Programs will own a portfolio of Hypori's most important Federal customer relationships and run the engagement rhythm that keeps them on plan. That work includes monthly and quarterly performance reviews, strategy sessions, and status updates across the Field Technical Services organization.
This role is responsible for directing, leading, and executing critical system implementations for DoW. You will serve as the trusted advisor and as the customers' voice, influencing and refining the Hypori Experience from inside the program. As the primary point of contact for delivery and technical stakeholders, you drive the operational relationship from implementation through adoption, while the Strategic Account Director manages the commercial and executive relationship.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that helps both Hypori and its customers realize enterprise-wide strategic outcomes. You will collaborate across internal teams and build strong credibility, influence, and partnership with leaders across Hypori. Your work directly determines whether Hypori's largest and most consequential deployments succeed and become operationalized inside the customer environment.
This role requires candidates to be based in the Washington, DC metro area.
Please note: you must be a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or have an active PMP certification to be considered.
What You Will Do
Program leadership and execution
  • Direct the definition, planning, execution, and monitoring of a portfolio of strategic programs and projects across the DoW
  • Coordinate and provide weekly and sometimes daily program and project management throughout the program lifecycle, including planning the overall program and monitoring progress against milestones
  • Manage the alignment of Federal Programs personnel across various customer engagements and internal projects
  • Identify and manage risks and issues within each program and define corrective action to avoid or minimize disruption to the implementation process
  • Design program playbooks to standardize repeatable implementation processes across similar customer bases

Customer engagement and advisory
  • Advise and serve as the primary point of contact for delivery and technical stakeholders to effectively implement the Hypori product in complex Government environments
  • Engage cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders on programmatic and technical topics, including product capabilities, implementation requirements (RMF, network, authentication), and deploying enterprise-wide programs to end-user communities
  • Develop Statements of Work (SOW) and Government proposals and procurement documents, including implementation scope, deployment requirements, and technical specifications in support of opportunities driven by the Strategic Account Director
  • Represent the product and customer implementations in public forums, including trade shows, conferences, and working groups
  • Monitor product adoption and usage health across the portfolio; identify accounts at risk of low adoption or non-renewal and proactively engage internal teams and customer stakeholders to course-correct

Business rhythm and communications
  • Develop, deliver, and manage a comprehensive communication vehicle that provides visibility on measurable progress against Field Technical Services KPIs for strategic accounts
  • Build and operate the monthly and quarterly rhythm of business (performance impact reviews, strategy preparations, and status reviews) for Federal customer engagements
  • Partner with Hypori Marketing and customer representatives to develop communications that support deployment milestones, feature adoption, and program status visibility for strategic accounts
  • Establish organizational and software delivery metrics, and build reports and dashboards that detail customer success, project execution, and program health

Who You Are
  • 8 - 10 years of practical experience in DoW program management across complex, multi-program enterprise organizations, delivering product and service features and managing dependencies between programs and products within a large portfolio of strategic customers
  • Demonstrated proficiency with software delivery methodologies and portfolio management for SaaS, on-premises, or hybrid software deployment models
  • Proactive and forward-thinking, with the ability to synthesize disparate information quickly into clear recommendations, actions, and decisions
  • Strong leadership presence and organizational agility; you impact and influence at all levels across the company
  • Skilled at acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure successful technical fulfillment of business requirements
  • Able to rapidly build trust and confidence with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders (GO, SES, C-Suite) and customer decision makers
  • Proven record of defining, establishing, and maintaining a consistent, traceable decision-making process across a heterogeneous landscape of stakeholders
  • Extensive experience working with complex U.S. Federal Government or other public sector compliance requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills, cross-team collaboration, and a habit of open, honest feedback and interaction
  • Self-motivated and confident operating at a senior level in a fast-paced, dynamic, high-growth environment
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills; you can deliver an engaging, informative briefing to any audience
  • U.S. Citizen (required)
  • Active DoW Security Clearance with a Tier 3 Investigation (Secret); required
  • Able to obtain a DoW Security Clearance with a Tier 5 Investigation (Top Secret)
  • Willing to travel up to 25%

What We Value
  • Customer obsession: You treat the customer's mission as your own and act as their voice inside Hypori
  • Ownership: You direct programs end-to-end and are accountable for the outcome, not just the activity
  • Intellectual honesty: you tell leadership the truth about program health, risk, and where things actually stand
  • Cross-functional partnership: you build credibility and influence across engineering, product, marketing, and the field
  • Change agency: you have a passion for transformation and the discipline to make it stick

Why Hypori
  • You lead a portfolio of consequential programs at a company where Federal mission success is the core of the business
  • Direct visibility into how the company's most important customer relationships are run, and direct influence over how they grow
  • The technology is real, differentiated, and solves a problem that legacy MDM and container approaches have not
  • Senior, high-visibility role with direct partnership across executive leadership
  • A distributed, flexible work environment built for senior professionals who deliver results

Salary Range
  • $170,000-$180,000 + 10% Bonus
