Job description

Eaton's North American Sales Division is currently seeking a Federal Compliance & CMMC Program Manager to join its team. This hybrid position can be located in Beachwood, OH; Charlotte, NC; Hanover, MD; Moon Township, PA; or Raleigh, NC, and only candidates residing within these territories will be considered. This exciting opportunity provides leadership responsibility for Eaton Electrical Sector's CMMC readiness, CUI compliance, and federal cybersecurity initiatives. The role offers broad exposure across executive leadership and multiple business functions while supporting continued growth in the federal marketplace.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $97,000 - $143,000 a year.

What you'll do:
The Federal Compliance & CMMC Program Manager is responsible for leading Eaton Electrical Sector's readiness efforts associated with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) compliance, and federal cybersecurity requirements. This position serves as the primary liaison across business functions: legal, IT, supply chain, sales, engineering, operations, and executive leadership to establish governance, readiness processes, and organizational adoption necessary to support continued growth in the federal marketplace.
This role is critical to ensuring Eaton maintains eligibility for Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal opportunities requiring compliance with CMMC and Controlled Unclassified Information requirements. The position will drive organizational alignment, business process development, risk management, readiness monitoring, and executive communications in support of enterprise certification objectives.
In this function, you will:
• Lead development and execution of Eaton Electrical Sector's CMMC readiness roadmap and implementation strategy.
• Serve as the central coordinator across Sales, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Cybersecurity, IT, Legal, Physical Security, and Compliance teams.
• Establish governance structures, executive reporting processes, program scorecards, and readiness review cadences.
• Drive implementation and adoption of business processes supporting CUI handling and compliance requirements.
• Lead organizational change management activities including communications, training, awareness, onboarding, and stakeholder engagement.
• Coordinate implementation and adoption of Eaton Federal Enclave (EFE) and Eaton Supplier CUI Portal (ESCUIP) processes.
• Partner with suppliers, distributors, and external stakeholders to support readiness activities.
• Develop executive business cases, readiness dashboards, compliance scorecards, and business impact analyses.
• Identify readiness gaps, resource constraints, compliance risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Support internal assessments, remediation planning, and certification preparation activities.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in program/project management, government contracts, operations, compliance, cybersecurity programs, engineering operations, government business, or business transformation.
• Experience leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives.
• No relocation assistance will be provided for this role. Candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Beachwood OH, Charlotte NC, Hanover MD, Moon Township PA, or Raleigh NC. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

• This position requires access to export-controlled information. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting Department of Defense, Federal Government, or regulated market segments.
• Knowledge of CMMC, NIST 800-171, DFARS, CUI, and federal cybersecurity requirements.
• Experience leading enterprise compliance, audit, governance, or transformation initiatives.
• PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent certifications.
• MBA or other advanced business degree.
• Experience presenting to executive leadership.

• Strong program management and organizational leadership capabilities.
• Ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders across business functions.
• Executive communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change-management initiatives.
• Experience identifying risks and driving mitigation plans.
