Job description

ABOUT THIS ROLE

LVT is seeking a high-caliber Director of Public Sector Capture to spearhead our growth within the U.S. Federal Government. As a senior individual contributor, you will own the full capture lifecycle-identifying, qualifying, and positioning LVT to win high-stakes contracts that bring our AI-driven hardware and software to the public sector. You will act as the bridge between market intelligence and winning proposals, leveraging your deep knowledge of federal procurement to shape requirements and secure our place as a mission-critical partner for government agencies.

This role is 100% remote and will require travel for industry events, agency site visits, or collaboration at our Headquarters in American Fork, Utah.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Capture Ownership: Lead the end-to-end capture process for major federal opportunities, focusing on increasing our Probability of Win ($PWIN$) through rigorous analysis and strategic positioning.
  • Pipeline Development: Research and track federal solicitations via GovWin, SAM.gov, and agency portals to maintain a robust 18-month rolling pipeline of strategic opportunities.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive competitive and incumbent analyses to identify LVT's unique value proposition and gaps in the current market landscape.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Engage directly with federal program offices and Small Business Development Officers to shape future requirements and influence acquisition strategies prior to formal RFP release.
  • Teaming Strategy: Identify and vet potential prime contractors and teaming partners, managing the execution of NDAs and Teaming Agreements (TAs) in collaboration with the contracts team.
  • GSA & Contract Management: Oversee the strategy and compliance for LVT's GSA Schedule, including catalog management, pricing strategy, and contract modifications.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Account Executives and Leadership to provide comprehensive pipeline briefings and strategic recommendations on "Go/No-Go" decisions.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • GSA Schedule Expert: Proven experience managing a company's GSA Schedule, including pricing strategy, catalog management, contract modifications, and ensuring strict compliance with federal procurement regulations.
  • Strategic Intelligence: Expert at navigating federal opportunity platforms such as GovWin, SAM.gov, FPDS, and agency forecast portals to identify, qualify, and prioritize opportunities early in the acquisition lifecycle.
  • Requirement Shaper: Skilled at engaging directly with federal program offices and end users to help shape current and future requirements and influence acquisition strategies prior to formal solicitations.
  • Acquisition Savvy: Deep understanding of federal acquisition processes and contracting structures, including IDIQs, BPAs, task orders, and OTA-based procurements.
  • Federal Growth Leader: Extensive experience in federal business development or capture management with a proven track record of winning multi-million dollar contracts.
  • Technical Architect: Ability to formulate complex win themes and competitive ghosts that differentiate LVT's AI and hardware solutions from traditional security incumbents.
  • Self-Directed Professional: A highly disciplined "hunter" who thrives in a remote, autonomous environment and can manage complex work streams without daily supervision.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Executive-level presence with the ability to translate technical federal jargon into clear, compelling narratives for internal and external stakeholders.

COMPENSATION

The beginning annual salary range for this role is $180,000 - $238,000 USD and is determined by location, job-related experience, and education/training. Your total earning potential is amplified by a bonus structure tied to meeting goals, and you will become an owner from day one through our employee equity program.
