About the Position: This is a non-state service time limited (x-14) position. Responsible for overseeing aspects of federal and state grants including; Maintain working relationships with sub-grantees and all applicable MSDH staff. Build and/or strengthening collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders supporting and advancing DOJ- (VOCA, HT and VAWA) project objectives and tracking progress of these projects. Maintain and assist with developing Program statutes. Serve as the liaison between OAIV and state vendors; Serve as Program Administrator who will be responsible for overseeing the grant and subgrant funding through OpenGOV, GrantGOV, and JustGrants portal; state and federal expenditure reporting, risk assessments, special conditions compliance, and closeout procedures. Collaborate with OAIV Budget Director and Finance and Accounting on budget development, reimbursement requests, state budget modifications and grant closeouts. Manage, monitor, and review reports to ensure subgrantees are submitting reports timely and accurately. Allocate State and Federal funds to potential applicants. Provide programmatic and financial oversight of state and federal funds and oversee the subgrant monitoring process to ensure appropriate use of funds. Assist with coordinating and gathering funding information to comply with any State and Federal Audit requests. Provides technical assistance to subgrantees. Oversee the validation of monthly and quarterly PMT subgrantee data reports and VAWA reporting to ensure the submission of PMT Quarterly Reports in the OJP PMT Data platform and Muskie Reporting
What you'll need to be Successful: Knowledge of federal grant management under 28 Part 94 and DOJ grant rules (2 CFR Parts 200 and 2800) eCFR. Familiarity with federal reporting systems (e.g., GMS, SF269, OVC reporting portals) MS.GOV.
Preferred Qualifications: Typically requires a Master's Degree, 7+ years of related experience, and 1-2 years of supervisory experience. Agency preferred qualifications:Experience in criminal justice or victim services. Compliance and accountability skills to meet federal and state oversight requirements.
